Prevention Programming

Working with school districts, community agencies and coalitions, the council provides quality research-based prevention programs for youth, pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.  Designed to build self-esteem, teach youth healthy alternatives and provide the skills necessary to make good decisions and solve problems, our programs are literacy-based and aligned with NYS educational standards.

Customized programs and presentations can be developed on a wide array of issues including drinking and driving, tobacco education and media literacy for classrooms, after school programs, youth groups, and neighborhood awareness groups.
